Trade minister has given Egypt’s speech at the opening
session.

Ahmed Samir has participated in the 110th meetings of the Arab League's Economic
and Social Council, held at the headquarters in Cairo, in
the presence of Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, assistant secretary-general and head of
Social Affairs sector, and a host of ministers and heads of member states’
delegations.
“Arab countries need more cooperation and
coordination in all areas of joint action to face current global economic and
social challenges,” Samir stressed delivering Egypt’s speech at the opening
session.
He said that the 109th round, chaired by Egypt,
witnessed great momentum in negotiations and progress on issues of common
concern, as well as a deeper Arab rapprochement.
Furthermore, the minister handed over chairmanship
of the council to Morocco.
