Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization Abdel (AOI) Moneim al-Terras, together with Talal Abu Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Group (TAG. Global), have all witnessed the launch of the first co-manufacturing production lines for tablets and laptop.
The AOI is partnering with TAG. Global to establish the first production lines of Arab-made laptops and tablets, in accordance with Industry 4.0 standards.
"The project will kickstart local manufacturing of high-tech electronics to meet local market needs and export to regional and global markets," Gamea said.
She further added that the transfer of the latest industrial technologies to the local industry would improve the quality of Egyptian products and increase their competitiveness in local and global markets.
